A handmade printed cotton regency style empire waisted dress, inspired by a Greene Collection circa 1810 roller printed dress. The bodice is flatlined, and the dress closes up the back with white antique glass buttons as shown.
The sleeve cuffs are drawstring so lightly adjustable, and the cuffs/armholes are finished in bias binding. Only the bodice is lined in royal blue cotton.
We can also make this dress in a light blue/white, or white/light green version of the fabric.
The dress fits size 10-12, and can be worn with or without stays. It measures 38” bust, 37” underbust, 13” long sleeves, 59” in length from nape of neck to hem.
The optional white cotton chemisette is trimmed in eyelet lace, and closes with ties (satin at the collar, cotton twill at the waist).
