1820’s Regency Inspired Empire Waist Bridgerton Cream Floral Calico Cotton Dress with Olive Green Cotton Sash
A regency/Bridgerton inspired cream floral calico cotton empire waist dress, with puffed sleeves and eyelet lace trim. An olive green sash is included as shown. It can be worn with or without stays.
The dress is high waisted, with hand gathering on the front of the bodice, as well as a hand finished hem. The buttons in back are antique mother of pearl. The bodice is flat lined with vintage ivory linen, and the neckline/waistband are finished with bias binding.
There is a satin ribbon drawstring in the waistband, to adjust fit.
It fits a modern size 8-10, with some adjustability in fit. It measures 36” bust, 32-33” underbust/waistband, and is shown on a mannequin with 37” hips. It measures 53” in length from nape of neck to hem, and has 12” long puffed sleeves.
