1930s Wedding Dress with Ruched and Smocked Bodice
A late 1930's smocked and ruched front wedding dress, in very good condition. The smocked neckline has been mended a bit due to some broken threads and the button loops in the back of the neck has some staining from the buttons as shown. The buttons at the waist are early plastic or celluloid.
The dress is a bit fragile so is best used as a study/reference piece but comes in around a 00-0 modern sizing but due to a lack of back zipper this dress is hard to fit on most mannequins of that size. We have other wedding dresses, hats and veils in stock from a variety of decades as well.
